Presstime24 (presstime24.com) is run by RK Rimel. We are the “controller” of the personal data described here, which means we decide how and why it is used.

Data we collect
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data so it can deliver pages and protect the site from abuse: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. We do not use this to identify you.
When you contact us
When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message, so we can reply.
Why we use it (and our legal basis)
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on these legal bases:

Service providers we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site:
- Cloudflare: hosting, domain and security.
- Google (Gmail): our email service, which stores the messages you send us.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to respond to a valid legal request.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Presstime24 does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Our cookie policy lists each cookie, who sets it, why and for how long.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier use;
- complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
If you live in California, you also have the right to know what personal information we collect and to ask us to delete or correct it, and you will not be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
To use any of these rights, contact us as described below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law requires.
How long we keep data
- Contact messages: up to 24 months after our last reply, then deleted.
- Technical data held by our hosting provider: according to Cloudflare’s own retention periods.
We may keep data for longer if the law requires it, for example to deal with a legal claim.
Children
Presstime24 is a news site for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security and international transfers
The site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and only the editor can read the messages you send. Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site.
