Presstime24 uses AI tools to help produce some of its work. This page explains where we use them, where we never do, and how a person stays responsible for everything we publish.
Where we use AI tools
- Research help: finding official sources, studies and documents, and summarising long pages so the editor can decide what to read in full.
- Drafting and editing: producing a first draft or suggesting clearer wording, which the editor then checks against the sources and rewrites where needed.
- Illustrations: some article images are created with AI image tools. Every one is labelled in its caption as an illustration created with AI.
Where we never use them
- To invent facts, figures, sources or links. Every fact in an article must come from a source we link to.
- To write quotes or put words in anyone’s mouth.
- To create images that pass off real people, real events or real products as photographs.
- To create authors. Every article is published under the name of a real person who is accountable for it.
Human review
Every article is reviewed and approved by our editor, RK Rimel, before it is published. The editor checks each claim against the linked sources and follows our editorial policy. Each article also shows whether a second person has fact checked it.
If you spot a mistake, tell us through our contact page. We fix errors openly, as described on our corrections page.
